Orgain squeezes the nutrition and ingredients of a protein shake into a 4oz shot

Orgain Whey Based Protein Shake

Orgain has come out with a smaller protein RTD, although this isn’t a shrunken-down version of one of the beverages it already has on the market, like the Clean Protein Shake, Organic Nutrition Shake, or Plant-Based Protein Shake. The brand has gone out and made a protein shot, and while it is significantly smaller in size compared to any of those others at 4oz a bottle or 118ml, it still manages to provide everything you could want from a protein shake from a quality set of ingredients.

Orgain calls its newest product the Whey Based Protein Shake, but with a volume of 4oz, a name like Whey Protein Shot is probably better suited. It is the same size as two 5-Hour Energy Shots, although instead of an uplifting hit of energy, you get to add a lean dose of protein to your daily macros. Every bottle of the beverage comes with 20g of protein from whey and milk concentrate, 5g of carbohydrates, 3g of that sugar and a gram of fiber, 2.5g of fat, and a calorie count of 120.

The product does not waste any effort in any particular area; it is precisely what we’d call it; a Whey Protein Shot. It gives you 20g of protein from whey and milk in a small enough drik that you could probably throw it down in one mouthful. The nutrition profile is as lean if not leaner than most of the bigger protein RTDs on the market, and you can grab Orgain’s all-new Whey Based Protein Shake in Chocolate Fudge and Vanilla Bean flavors direct at $35.99 for a pack of 12.
