Monster potentially dropping some long-running flavors of its Ultra Series and Bang Energy

Monster Rosa And Rainbow Unicorn Bang Retiring

The variety of energy drinks available from the beverage behemoth Monster is absolutely giant, especially on an international scale, as it has flavors and products you can’t get here in the US. Either way, it’s a huge catalog, and if you weren’t aware, it does discontinue items here and there, whether it’s due to success, too much for a particular audience, or something else entirely. Details have emerged of a selection of beverages that are apparently being retired in 2025, and there are some surprises.

The list of Monster retirements for next year has surfaced on Reddit, and it includes the Strawberry Lemonade Monster Rehab, Aussie Lemonade Juice Monster, and the Java Monster 300, although we kind of expected that one since it’s the same sort of thing as the upcoming Monster Killer Brew. Some non-Monster brand items are Reign in its Melon Mania flavor, the Peach Nectarine Reign Storm, and the Bang Energy Drink in Rainbow Unicorn, Candy Crisp Apple, Sour Heads, and Wyldin’ Watermelon.

Also on the list are two flavors of our favorite energy drink, the sugar-free Monster Ultra family in the still relatively recent Monster Ultra Rosa and one of the oldest on the menu in Monster Ultra Red. Again, there are some surprises: Ultra Red due to it being around for so many years and the handful of Bang Energy options, especially the almost signature and unique Rainbow Unicorn. This is, of course, all based on the post from Saskatchemoose on Reddit, but it does look like it’s come from an official source.
