SkinnyDipped takes the tops off of its dark chocolate peanut butter cups

Skinnydipped Topless Dark Chocolate Cups

As most will know, traditionally, chocolate peanut butter cups are a rich and decadent, hard chocolate casing with a filling of sweet and smooth peanut butter. That is something fans of the better-for-you snack brand SkinnyDipped will be more than familiar with its low-sugar peanut butter cups in some delicious flavors in classic Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, and Caramel Paradise. The team has colored outside the lines a bit this month and made another flavor that’s more like a different twist.

SkinnyDipped has released Dark Chocolate Topless Cups that are essentially the same snack as the Dark Chocolate-flavored peanut butter cups, but they don’t have any tops. Yes, it takes away a layer of decadent chocolate, which is a loss, especially if the chocolate side is your favorite, but the upside is you get even more of the peanut buttery goodness. The nutrition is much the same, with 6g of fat in a single piece, 6g of carbohydrates, half of that sugar, 2g of protein, and a reasonable 70 calories.

It’s a fun spin on SkinnyDipped’s already available low-sugar peanut butter cups, where you kind of get a new flavor, although primarily a new experience, with a dark chocolate that has a higher peanut butter to dark chocolate ratio. The product can be purchased straight from Amazon, where it’s actually a pinch cheaper than SkinnyDipped’s original dark cups at $22.99 for a bundle of four bags, and inside each bag is six pieces.
