Alex Cooper calls out the competition and introduces her gently caffeinated sports drink

Unwell Hydration

Popular podcaster Alexandra Cooper, the mind and host behind Call Her Daddy, has jumped into the hydration space, joining several other big names like Logan Paul, KSI, Lionel Messi, Jocko Willink, and, of course, the several companies that have expanded into the space. Cooper’s competitor is called Unwell Hydration, and in her short social media clip introducing the beverage, she mentions all of the hydration drinks on the market are made for men, and calls out their content and taste.

Obviously, this is all extremely subjective, although Alex Cooper got her point across and is definitely getting attention with the soon-to-be-released Unwell Hydration. The team plans on launching the product in the coming weeks right on New Year’s Day, the first of January. With all of the points she made about Unwell’s competitors, it’d be good to assume the beverage won’t be high in sugar or taste bad, and Cooper has also said the brand is made by women but has been built for everyone.

Another interesting feature of Alex Cooper’s Unwell Hydration is that it’s more functional than your standard sports drink, although we have yet to see the complete list of ingredients. Based on the limited amount of information available, Unwell is going to have a variety of electrolytes to support hydration, vitamins B1, B3 and B6, and an infusion of caffeine. The caffeine is described as gently included with less than a cup of coffee, which isn’t saying much as that’s true about a classic 8oz can of Red Bull.

There isn’t any significant highlight in the promotional material of Unwell Hydration about it being low in sugar and calories, that’s not to say it isn’t, but it’s not openly out there. Basically, we don’t have a lot of details to go off, and we are going to need all of that to see just how good this is compared to the competition. Alex Cooper and her brand definitely turned heads with a strong pitch; now it’s on to the debut in the New Year to find out if this does indeed tick the boxes of functionality, dosage, and flavoring.
