1st Phorm works a deal with Anheuser-Busch and Dana White to innovate in the energy drink space

Anheuser Busch And 1st Phorm

Sometimes getting into different industries and even different areas of a current industry, takes more than what a brand may currently have to offer in-house. Bringing on board or partnering with someone from that business is a great way to go, as we’ve seen from a few others in the world of health and nutrition. The health and nutrition supplement specialist 1st Phorm is doing precisely that for a venture involving itself, a couple of other powerhouse names, and the exploding energy drink category.

Anheuser-Busch and 1st Phorm have announced a strategic partnership aimed at innovating within the energy drink and related beverage segments. The collaboration is looking to leverage Anheuser-Busch’s beverage expertise and distribution network with 1st Phorm’s 20-year experience in the sports nutrition industry. The CEO of the UFC, Dana White is also joining the venture, bringing brand-building prowess and adding a whole lot of star power and potential reach with the awareness and reach he already has.

It is certainly going to be interesting to see how this plays out, what kind of beverages 1st Phorm and Anheuser-Busch end up bringing to market, and how much of an impact they’ll have on the immense competition that already exists. With Anheuser-Busch on board, whatever product the collaboration ends up crafting it will get plenty of distribution and presence in coolers and on shelves. Whether it’ll take a fair chunk out of the category is going to be another story, and we’ll be sure to share the journey here at Stack3d, with the complete announcement available to read on the website of Anheuser-Busch.
