Applied Nutrition here in the US, hinted at the coming of its advanced seies fat burner Shred-X, which has been around in the United Kingdom and Europe for some time. Right in line with the start of 2025, the international giant has debuted Shred-X in its American lineup under the AN Performance banner, and it is a rather large launch. The brand has brought the weight loss product stateside in two formats, flavored powder and capsules, each designed to help burn fat with their own specific set of ingredients.
Each of the versions of Applied Nutrition’s newly released in the US, Shred-X, have a similar base formula, ensuring weight management support as well as elevated energy and enhanced focus. Both the flavored powder and capsule Shred-X products include theanine, tyrosine, choline, and a hit of caffeine. The dosages of those components aren’t all identical, the caffeine is at 200mg, but either way, they each have the tools to offer better focus, clarity, and energy when used.
Alongside those sensory ingredients, Applied Nutrition has filled its American Shred-X with weight management supporters that change a bit from powder to pill. In the flavored powder (facts panel above) you get acetyl-l-carnitine, green tea, gymnema, and some more performance style components in betaine at 1.5g and taurine at 250mg. Then in the capsule Shred-X, you also get green tea, at the same 400mg a serving, plus cayenne pepper, olive leaf, chromium, and acetyl-l-carnitine at 25mg versus the 3g in the powder.
Very similar to Applied Nutrition’s signature pre-workout All Black Everything, better known as ABE; Shred-X, which comes under the same series, sticks to a core set of familiar ingredients, many and respectable dosages, including acetyl-l-carnitine, cayenne, green tea, and, of course, the 200mg of caffeine.
