Bucked Up is getting into protein RTD business although not in the usual fashion

Bucked Up Carbonated Protein Drink

Bucked Up is spread throughout the health, sports, and nutrition industry with protein powders, wellness formulas, a series of supplements for women, many different pre-workouts, muscle builders, standalones, and a popular family of functional beverages. There are still plenty of places left for the successful brand to spread into, including ready-to-drink protein. At the Arnold Sports Festival, Bucked Up has a solution for that gap with its all-new Lightly Carbonated Protein Drink.

The Bucked Up protein RTD is far from your traditional entry into the subcategory, as it’s not in a plastic bottle or the paperboard Tetra Paks, nor is it in your classic chocolate, vanilla, or other milkshake-style flavors. The Lightly Carbonated Protein Drink is essentially a clear-style protein beverage, squeezing a solid 25g of muscle-building protein into a 16oz can. That protein comes entirely from premium, high-quality whey isolate, and it is alongside absolutely no other nutrition.

Bucked Up’s Lightly Carbonated Protein Drink has no sugar, carbohydrates, or fat, with only 100 calories a can, and at four calories per gram of protein, that means there are no calories coming from anything outside of protein. The brand relies on the artificial sweetener sucralose to deliver on taste for all four of its light and refreshing options. The lightly carbonated options making up the product’s menu are Rainbow Candy, Orange Cream, Peach Mango, and Banana Pineapple.

Bucked Up has debuted the intriguing and innovative Lightly Carbonted Protein Drink at this year’s Arnold Sports Festival, right at the heart of the Columbus Convention Center. The popular supplement company is officially launching the protein beverage to the public in the coming weeks, and we imagine it’ll make some noise and have an impact due to its unique approach compared to its competitors.
