Chocolate lovers rejoice as Podium drops a Brownie flavor of its Protein Stroopwafel

Chocolate Brownie Podium Stroopwafel

Sports nutrition company Podium expanded outside of its original sector last year and into the functional food space with Protein Stroopwafel. It is a high-protein take on the traditional Dutch treat of the same name, stroopwafel, where you get two thin, wafer-looking cookies either side of a deliciously gooey syrup, and in the case of the first flavor, it was caramel syrup. Podium’s Protein Stroopwafel is getting its first new flavor today, and this one is for all the chocolate lovers out there.

Podium Nutrition has debuted a Chocolate Brownie Protein Stroopwafel, a great alternative to the previously lonely caramel. Instead of sweet and salty, here you get rich and decadent chocolate cookie layers with a gooey fudge filling. All of the same main ingredients and nutrition as caramel are present, with milk isolate and wheat protein helping get you to 6g of protein per piece, a sizeable 17g of carbohydrates, a fair amount of that being sugar, and a calorie count coming in at 140.

You can get your hands on the all-out chocolate experience for Podium’s unique Protein Stroopwafel immediately through its online store at $14.99 for a box of eight. That’s not too bad for a better-for-you protein treat, working out to under $2 a piece and $22.48 if you want its value based on the more traditional pack of 12.
