Grape flavored Violet Voltage makes its way to market for Australia’s Flipside energy drink

Grape Flipside Energy Drink

Flipside, Australia’s energy drink upstart, is finally rolling out its Violet Voltage flavor four months after its initial unveiling. The brand has earned itself quite a presence, breaking into the major convenience store chain 7-Eleven and spreading its wings across the country. The new addition to the beverage menu is a grape-based experience, joining the original Blue Ice and Pina Colada. Currently, Violet Voltage is only available in the regular sugary, high-calorie original, packing 106mg of caffeine per can for uplifting energy.

The Violet Voltage Flipside Energy Drink comes in an eye-catching purple-colored can, as you’d expect, with the classic carbonated grape taste. Again, the extension is exclusively available in the regular edition of the beverage, not the sugar-free, where the active ingredients sit alongside 49.8g of carbohydrates, almost all of that sugar at 49g, for a total of 208 calories. You can get your hands on Violet Voltage through 7-Eleven coolers or buy bulk from the sports nutrition retailer Elite Supplements at $89.90 (56.87 USD) for a case of 24.
