Kourtney Kardashian has built a strong audience with her supplement company Lemme, which started in gummies but now also offers capsule products, all centered around health and wellness with some reliable and premium ingredients. Kourtney’s sister Khloe Kardashian is trying her hand at a nutrition brand, although she is coming at it from a different angle with a functional food company, introducing Khloud Foods and its first item, Khloud Protein Popcorn.
Khloe Kardashian and Khloud Foods are beginning with a high-protein popcorn, an interesting food to go after due to its light format and low nutrition. In a 1oz serving of Khloud Protein Popcorn, you get 7g of protein from added milk isolate, about double the content of 1oz of traditional popcorn, with 8g of fat, 13g of carbohydrates, 3g of fiber, zero sugar, and a calorie count of 150.

The nutrition profile may not seem close, but it is about the same balance as Kudo’s Protein Popcorn, packing 16g of protein and 300 calories with similar carbohydrates and fat. Regular popcorn eaters will notice that the tradeoff for extra protein in Khloud Protein Popcorn comes at the expense of more fat and higher calories. The taste of this one, though, we imagine will win out, with three flavors, all made without anything artificial and only real ingredients like olive oil and sea salt.
Khloe Kardashian and Khloud Foods are officially launching their Protein Popcorn at the end of the month, exclusively at the big box retailer Target in Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn, Olive Oil and Sea Salt, and White Cheddar varieties. The price of the product is $4.99, and that is not for a small snack-sized pack. Khloud Protein Popcorn comes in a large 4oz bag, similar to mainstream popcorn, and that’s enough for four servings, meaning all up it has 28g of protein and 600 calories.
