My Routine and global brand Lipton make two authentic flavors of protein powder

My Routine Lipton Protein Powders

Authentic collaborations have gone global, with different markets around the world getting in on the approach and partnering with brands, foods, and even characters to theme supplements and flavors around. We’ve seen this in the likes of the United Kingdom, various countries across Europe, down under in Australia, India, and Japan. My Routine is one of the growing sports nutrition brands in Japan, and it has now announced a collaboration that’s actually recognized worldwide.

My Routine and Lipton have made two special edition flavors of whey protein powder based on classic Lipton beverages in Honey Black Milk Tea and Royal Milk Tea. The supplement company uses the number one tea brand’s signature black tea for an authentic taste, combined with a typical protein formula. Both collaborations provide 20g of protein from whey concentrate, just over 5g of carbohydrates, all of that being sugar, 1.6 to 2.1g of fat, and around 120 calories.

The authentic Lipton Honey Black Milk Tea and Royal Milk Tea protein powders from My Routine have only been unveiled for now and will become available in Japan in the coming weeks. The exact date they’re going live is rather meaningful in exactly four weeks on Saturday, the 10th of May. That is actually the birthday of the founder of the century-and-a-half-old tea brand, Sir Thomas Lipton, and it is heavily celebrated in Japan known as Lipton Day.
