Skinny Food finally jumps into protein chips and squeezes in up to 19g a bag

Skinny Food Co Protein Chips

The Skinny Food Co competes in all sorts of corners, areas, and formats of the functional food category, although surprisingly, something that we didn’t really notice it was absent from is the rather common and popular subcategory of protein chips. There are several notable names in that game, including the powerhouse Quest Nutrition, and now, after all these years and 100s of products, Skinny Food has introduced Skinny Protein Chips.

Typically, we don’t see The Skinny Food Co get too high in the protein content in any of its functional innovations; however, that is not the case on this, as you get a much more protein bar-like amount of up to 19g in a 60g bag. That comes alongside just under 10g of fat, between 25 and 30g of carbohydrates, less than 2g of sugar, and reasonable, not supremely lean, but reasonable calories sitting around 268 to 272, depending on the flavor.

Again, it’s not often you see The Skinny Food Co get too high in protein in its functional foods; they’re usually more moderate and focused on being lower calorie, better-for-you alternatives. Skinny Protein Chips do indeed break that mold, scraping a pinch under the 20g mark, in three traditional flavors with Paprika, Cheese, and Barbecue. Skinny Food sells its latest product in packs of six, or if you just want to try it, single bags are £2.49.
