Ghost and General Mills make a protein-packed Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ghost Protein Cereal

An interesting fact about the protein-packed cereal from the sports nutrition powerhouse Ghost is that it is a partnership with the food giant General Mills. The collaboration helped give the functional food attractive shelf placement in supermarkets, and quickly got the word out to an audience that wasn’t all about supplements. The first new flavor has been announced for Ghost Protein Cereal, and you might have seen it coming, knowing about General Mills’ role.

General Mills is a leading food giant, but also a cereal king with a wide range of iconic brands under its umbrella, including Chex, Cheerios, Cocoa Puffs, Cookie Crisp, and Golden Grahams. With Ghost being the original driver of authentic collaborations, it was only a matter of time before it leveraged that partnership with General Mills and put protein into one of its cereals, which is exactly what it’s announced today, in a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ghost Protein Cereal.

Ghost stays true to its other flavors of Protein Cereal, and puts 17g of protein into every serving of its Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal with reasonable carbohydrates, fat, and calories. The brand is planning to launch its first extension to the product this Sunday, directly through its website. While that will be the first availability, this is a permanent drop, so it’s here to stay, and is very likley going to get the strong instore presence of the other Ghost Protein Cereals.
