Hero Bread puts as much as 11g of protein and a gram of net carbs or less in all of its products

Functional food companies can get far more creative than most other areas of the health and nutrition industry, and we say this a lot as it’s most definitely true with all of the edible formats brands can sink protein and teeth into. Hero Bread shows off precisely that in its selection of protein-packed breads, but it isn’t all about muscle-building protein, as its various shapes and sizes all come with incredibly low numbers in the rest of their nutrition profiles.

Hero Bread makes all of the traditional baked bread formats, including burger buns, hot dog buns, croissants, wraps, bagels, white and seed bread, and sweet Hawaiian rolls. To show you just how good the macros are from the brand, we’ll look at its white bread and burger buns. In a single slice of the bread, you get 5g of protein from wheat protein, zero net carbohydrates as all of its 11g of carbs are fiber, and just 45 calories. In Hero Bread’s Classic Burger Buns, you get 11g of protein, once again, zero net carbs, 4g of fat, and a calorie count of 90.

That balance of protein to net carbohydrates and low calories is consistent throughout all of Hero Bread’s functional innovations; the only ones that get a bit higher in any of those areas are the bigger items, where there is simply more to eat. Per serving of any product, the brand keeps within 4 to 11g of protein per serving and doesn’t exceed a gram of net carbs.

Feel free to drop by Hero Bread’s online store and check out everything it has available. The brand outlines all of the necessary details very clearly on its website from the ingredients to nutrition, and while it may not seem like a big deal, it has photos of the actual products, not a render or illustration. If you want to give it a try, Hero Bread has the Welcome Box at $84.99 with pieces of its popular items, including its white bread, tortillas, rolls, and croissants.
