The hugely successful better-for-you-candy company, SmartSweets, has a new innovation on the market, but you aren’t going to find this one in every market where it has a presence; in fact, it is currently only available in Canada. Even more interestingly, the product is exclusive to one specific partner, in the membership, wholesale retailer Costco. Thankfully, that is a beast of a retail partner with a little more than 100 locations across the country.
The latest product from SmartSweets is actually one fans may remember, at least in terms of taste, with Pink Lemonade Buddies. The individual gummies have the same shape as the brand’s previously released Sour Blast Buddies with a Pink Lemonade taste, which is the same as you get in its Barbie collaboration. They also have the same color split where you get pieces in pink and pieces in yellow, and the same low 4g of sugar and calorie count of 130 per bag.
As mentioned, you can only get SmartSweets’ Pink Lemonade Buddies low sugar candy from Costco Canada, and it is a limited edition drop, which means you’ll want to grab it while you can, but it could also mean when it’s through its limited run, it may get a more permanent position.
