Sporter brings together reliable ingredients and dosages for its sub $20 pre-workout Sting

Sporter recently teased that it would be getting into more complex categories under its self-titled house brand, and this week, it has gone ahead and launched its first-ever, balance pre-workout called Sting. The interesting thing about house brands made by distributors and retailers, like the Middle Eastern giant Sporter, is that they know their customers better than anyone. So, looking at Sting, you have to know it was made with precisely its audience in mind.

The Sting pre-workout from Sporter isn’t supremely loaded, although most supplements in its part of the world are fairly tame and straightforward. The innovation is along the same lines as Applied Nutrition’s ABE and Cellucor’s legendary C4, where you get a reliable set of ingredients and dosages that are more than enough to have some effect and get the job done.

Sporter Sting Pre Workout Label

The breakdown of Sporter’s Sting pre-workout includes 4g of pure citrulline and 3g of arginine AKG for muscle pumps, a gram of taurine, a bit more than the usual 3.2g of beta-alanine at 3.6g for performance, and a gram of tyrosine and 400mg of alpha-gpc. There is also an array of vitamins and electrolytes, and finally, caffeine is there too, at a strong amount to add some uplifting energy to the experience, at 360mg in the maximum two-scoop serving.

Everything in there is on par with a reliable, cost-effective pre-workout, and while the citrulline could be a bit higher, the tyrosine and alpha-gpc are at respectable amounts, and the caffeine will pack a punch as 360mg is above the 300mg of most value-focused competitors. The price is the key here, and Sporter does not disappoint, with Sting well under $20 at AED60 (16.34 USD) for a tub of 15 full servings or 30 halves, which is a value of $21.78 for 20 servings.
