Introducing Sweet Gains and its higher protein ice cream packing 40g per pint

Sweet Gains Protein Ice Cream

The frozen side of the functional food industry is a delicious one, and while it’s not as common to find a protein-packed ice cream compared to a protein bar, cookie, or chips, it is a significantly more enjoyable experience. It’s probably the scarcity or accessibility that makes them more exciting, and we have another one to share today that’s well worth hunting down, introducing Sweet Gains and its extra-high protein innovation.

Sweet Gains doesn’t play around with the more common 20g of protein per pint or pot; it goes all the way up to 40g of muscle-building protein, from quality sources, too, in skim milk, whey protein, and a bit of casein. The other numbers can be quite high, depending on the flavor you choose, but the leanest option is, of course, Vanilla, with 43g of carbohydrates, 35g of that sugar, and 11g of fat, for a total of 430 calories.

Sweet Gains Cookies Protein Ice Cream

There are some more exotic options available for the Sweet Gains protein ice cream in Caramel, Strawberry, classic Chocolate, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Cookies & Cream. That is, however, where the calories get a fair amount higher, up to 530, mostly due to the fat. The tradeoff is that extra high 40g of protein, and when you scale it out, the Vanilla is about the same protein-to-calorie ratio as a Grenade Protein Bar, and the likes of Cookies and Chocolate are high but slightly leaner than your typical flavor of the Anabar.

Though the protein is higher at Sweet Gains than its competitors, it isn’t a trade off for taste as the product looks incredibly on point in terms of taste and texture, and going off fan reception, the look extends into the actual eating experience. You can find out more about the growing Sweet Gains and its protein ice cream, on its website, and even better, it can be purchased online there, although delivery is limited to the tri-state area.
