Coffee brand Califia Farms makes a higher protein version of its ready-to-drink almond latte

Califia Farms Protein Almond Latte

Califia Farms is not a name you would have seen on here at Stack3d before, and for good reason. It doesn’t make supplements, an energy drink, or any sort of functional food. The brand is known for its delicious line of oat and almond milks, coffee creamers, and ready-to-drink coffees and teas. It is the last entry of that selection that we’re focusing on, as Califia has just made something for our business in that convenient format.

Alongside its original Almond Latte, Matcha Almond Latte, Mocha Almond Latte, and Chai Almond Latte, Califia Farms now offers Protein Almond Latte. Similar to those other offerings, the brand’s more health-conscious innovation is a bulk 40oz bottle of ready-to-drink coffee made with almond milk. The difference is that Califia has infused this one with plant-based pea and fava bean protein to increase the muscle-building macro.

The protein isn’t at a protein powder level of 25g per serving, nor your standard protein bar amount of 20g. Califia Farms’ Protein Almond Latte pumps in 10g, which isn’t a lot, but it’s over three times its regular Almond Latte. The other numbers are 9g of carbohydrates, 5g of that added sugar, 5g of fat, and 140 calories. The innovation is a great way to add a bit of extra protein to your diet, and at the end of the day, it all adds up.
