Freak Labs combines isolate, collagen and HMB for its latest protein expansion

Freak Labs Iso Whey Plus

International brand Freak Labs is heavy into protein powder with a host of supplements for the saturated category for different purposes and benefits. There is the creatine-infused Power Whey 100, the blend-style Super Whey 100, the premium ISO Whey 100, and The Muscle Gainer with 513 calories per serving. New to the family this quarter is a spin-off of sorts of ISO Whey 100 with ISO Whey Plus, which comes with a twist in its sources and extras.

The key difference with Freak Labs’ newly released ISO Whey Plus is that the 26g of protein per serving comes from high-end whey isolate and collagen, not entirely whey isolate. The brand has also infused the leucine metabolite HMB to improve and enhance muscle recovery. The other macros are as light as you’d expect with whey and collagen as the lead sources in just 400mg of carbohydrates, most of that sugar, a quarter of a gram of fat, and 108 calories.

As mentioned, Freak Labs is heavy into the protein powder category, and ISO Whey Plus reflects that even more, giving consumers an option that combines whey isolate, multi-benefit collagen, and HMB. The brand has been rolling it out into the market over the last few weeks in a large 4.4lb tub of 63 servings in some tasty sounding flavors with Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Cheesecake, and then for coffee drinkers out there, Iced Cafe made with coffee powder.
