Haleo makes its own drip coffee and lets fans choose Bold or Chill

Haleo Original Coffee

Haleo in Japan tends to stick to core sports nutrition categories like protein powder, amino acids, creatine, and so on, although every now and then it does something different and gets an extra bit innovative. We’re being treated to that creativity in Haleo’s all-new Original Blend Coffee, a custom-made grip coffee with a taste that’s been signed off by the CEO and Chief Development Officer of Haleo and its sister brand, Bulk Sports, David Holton.

Haleo’s Original Blend Coffee is made with coffee beans from Colombia and Tanzania, at least for the Bold variant, featuring a rich, dark roast experience. There is a second option to choose from for the product called Chill, which alternatively uses Mexican coffee beans and is caffeine-free, hence the name “Chill”. We’ve seen plenty of custom ground coffees from health and nutrition companies, although a drip method is quite an interesting take.

The product doesn’t cost all that much, as you’d expect when you get four servings per pack at ¥1,520 (10.64 USD), and Haleo lets you choose, whether you get all four packs in Bold or Chill, or a variety bundle that comes with two of each for the same price.
