Introducing Ryde and its energizing, focus-supporting and relaxing shots

From Stack3d
Ryde Functional Shots

Ryde is still a rather young functional beverage brand that offers a variety of benefits in a convenient drink format, although we’re not talking the hugely popular carbonated energy drink or the flat, refreshing world of hydration. Ryde makes three shots, and each of them has a different name that instantly communicates the benefits and effects it’s trying to deliver in its pocket-sized formula with Energize, Focus, and Relax.

While companies have been getting a bit more complex and advanced with what they put into beverages in those larger canned energy drinks and plastic bottled sports drinks, that’s not so much the case in shots. Ryde shows you a bit of that, as though its various functions are more than your standard energy shot, you don’t get a huge amount of ingredients supporting them.

Ryde Functional Shots

Ryde Energize has a blend of B vitamins plus a 485mg blend of green tea providing 200mg of natural caffeine, taurine at a very light dosage, and ginseng. That simplicity continues into Focus, where you the formula is practically the same as Energy but with 50mg less caffeine and calming theanine in place of taurine. Lastly is Ryde calming Relax shot, offering a 400mg combination of theanine, lemon balm, ginseng, and chamomile.

We like the look of Ryde and its functional approach to the shot format, although we would’ve liked to see better dosages, especially when you’re digging into things like focus and relaxation that aren’t as easy to have a noticeable impact on like caffeinated energy. The growing shot brand makes it easy to try its line on Amazon, where there is a variety pack of six and cases of eight, but they get pricey with the eight at $36.
