TC Nutrition adds Dynamine to its more cost-effective Batch 27 pre-workout

Tc Nutrition Batch 27 Lite

The topic of cost-effective pre-workouts has been a frequent one here at Stack3d, as the trend of making supplements for the cheaper end of the popular category is still very popular among sports nutrition companies. TC Nutrition in Canada is dropping its competitor with that strategy this month, spinning off its long-running and well-rounded pre-workout Batch 27, introducing the aptly named Batch 27 Lite.

TC Nutrition’s Batch 27 Lite is indeed a light or, in this case, “Lite” version of the original Batch 27 pre-workout, with a simpler set of ingredients for a lower overall price while still looking to support all of the core effects of this sort of supplement. The cost difference of Batch 27 versus Batch 27 Lite is $10, with the latter sitting at $29.99 for a tub of 20 full servings

You can see the alternative value reflected in the formula above, with fewer ingredients and dosages that are mostly not as high. The Lite spin-off includes half a gram of tyrosine for focus, 1.6g of beta-alanine for performance, and 4g of straight citrulline for pumps. Rounding it out is theanine, a variety of electrolytes to drive hydration, then the stimulants Dynamine and 175mg of caffeine for a notable hit of energy and focus.

TC Nutrition’s Batch 27 Lite is not a huge drop from Batch 27, as the tyrosine is about the same, the theanine is higher, and you get the hard-hitting Dynamine, which is not present in the original. The Canadian brand definitely comes through with as good a value in Batch 27 Lite, giving consumers the option to save some money at $29.99 and get a similar but less-supported pre-workout with four flavors to choose from.
