Trec makes a flavor-first protein in Chocolate Coconut and Vanilla Caramel flavors

Trec Nutrition Protein Shake

Trec Nutrition is home to more protein powders than you could ever want to choose from, and it’s also the umbrella company responsible for the Boogieman Series of products, originally led by the Boogieman himself, Blessing Awodibu. We’re talking about Trec and its competitors in the protein space this week, as it has rolled out a whole new entry for the saturated category in the thicker, creamier, flavor-first offering Protein Shake.

Similar to Real Pharm’s recently rolled-out Real Whey Creamy, Trec Nutrition’s Protein Shake is a gourmet-style supplement, made with whey concentrate as a high-quality source of protein and buttermilk powder for a heavier consistency and high-end taste experience. The brand has debuted the supplement in two flavors, neither of which is overly traditional, with Chocolate Coconut and then a sweet and salty, Caramel Vanilla.

The nutrition profile of Trec Nutrition’s Protein Shake is moderately high in carbohydrates, although that is to be expected when flavor comes first. The protein sits at 20g in a 30g serving, the carbs are just over 3g at 3.6, 2g of fat, and 115 calories. In short, if you’re a supplement consumer in Europe or a fan of Trec, and want something a bit tastier when it comes to protein powder, this is worth a look, but it does only come in 10-serving tubs.
