Reputable Evolve adds a cost-effective competitor to the pre-workout category

Evolve Nutrition Underground Pre

Evolve Nutrition in South Africa has rolled out a new stimulant pre-workout, intriguingly named Underground Pre, which is quite different from its longer-running, more premium Neuro-Drive Compound-6. While Neuro-Drive brings together a lengthy list of high-end, proven, and reliable ingredients and dosages, Underground Pre is simpler and more cost-effective; in fact, it’s about half the price.

While there is a notable difference between Evolve Nutrition’s new Underground Pre and Neuro-Drive Compound-6, the former isn’t short on ingredients and dosages, and still manages to string together a robust formula. Taking care of pumps and performance, the South African company has thrown in 3g of beta-alanine, a gram each of agmatine and taurine, and a sizeable dosage of citrulline malate at 5g.

There are also plenty of energy and focus drivers in Underground Pre, with 250mg of VitaCholine, 100mg of theanine, synephrine, and 250mg of caffeine. Again, this isn’t a premium pre-workout like Neuro-Drive Compound-6; Underground pre is for those on a budget. You can see that reflected in the short and sweet formula as well as the price tag.

Evolve Nutrition’s Underground Pre is out on the market this month in its home country, with retailers selling it for around R269 (14.46 USD), going far lower than the cost-effective daily pre-workouts we’re familiar with here in the US. The supplement has two flavors available in Candy Apple and Lychee Pear, with 20 servings per tub, the same amount as Neuro-Drive Compound-6, which costs around R500.
