Real Pharm releases a cost-effective pre-workout with or without stimulants at $20 a tub

Real Pharm King Pre Workout

Polish powerhouse Real Pharm has a new pre-workout innovation out this month, boldly named King, and while Europe hasn’t been the most advanced market in this category, that is slowly but surely beginning to change. Real Pharm’s King is a reflection of that evolution, as it comes backed by a pretty robust selection of ingredients, and while the dosages aren’t on the level with most of those here in the US, keep in mind the price of it is just $20.

Real Pharm has packed its King pre-workout with 800mg of beta-alanine and another 800mg of taurine for performance, far from the amounts we’d like; however, again, in a double serving, they do get better at 1.6g each. You then have 3g each of arginine AKG and citrulline malate and 2g of GlycerSize glycerol to power muscle pumps, with tyrosine at half a gram and 300mg of choline bitartrate to ensure you get a good amount of focus and concentration while you work out.

The energy component in Real Pharm King is driven by green tea, theobromine, and caffeine, all of them at respectable amounts, especially the caffeine sitting at 200mg. As mentioned, the single serving dosages of most of the ingredients in the supplement are nothing to write home about; almost all of them fall on the lighter side. The caffeine at 200mg, though, leaves the door open to a double serve, giving you 6g of citrulline malate, 1.6g of beta-alanine, and a potent 400mg of caffeine.

Interestingly, Real Pharm has launched a stimulant-free variant of its King pre-workout, which is quite a bit different as it’s taken out all of those energizing entries, including the caffeine and theobromine. In their place, the brand has added HMB for recovery, a touch of arginine HCL for more pumps, and carnitine to enhance metabolism. You can check out the two Kings on Real Pharm’s website, where both versions cost 75zł (20.69 USD).
