Swedish retailer and house brand Tyngre has launched a new flavor this month for one of its protein powders, and unlike almost every other occasion, it is not an extension to its Casein or Whey Proteins, or even the gourmet-tasting Creamy Protein. The notable name is giving back to its functional baking mix, Protein Pancake Mix, designed to be quickly combined with water, shaken until it reaches batter consistency, then thrown in the frying pan for cooking.
Tyngre has a new flavor out this month for that particular product, Protein Pancake Mix, made with wheat flour and protein, and whey concentrate for 15g of protein in a 50g serving. The carbohydrates are relatively high at 24g, pushing the supplement closer to meal replacement status, but still better in protein than traditional pancakes. The new flavor now available for the Tyngre functional product is a Dubai Chocolate-inspired Chocolate & Pistachio.
As per the name, Tyngre’s Chocolate & Pistachio Protein Pancake Mix offers a blend of rich chocolate and smooth pistachio, all with the macro balance mentioned earlier. To make it extra special, the retailer and brand has given it a unique look and feel, as pictured above, and it’s available straight from Tyngre’s online store at 110kr (11.38 USD) for a 500g bag.
