Redcon1 is expanding its Jolt collaboration with an authentic Root Beer energy drink

Jolt Root Beer Redcon1 Energy

When Redcon1 first previewed its collaboration with the iconic energy drink, Jolt Cola, late last year, it did so with an original Cola flavor as well as a fruit-based Tropical Burst. At the moment, it is only the Jolt Cola on the market as a flavor of the beverage; Tropical Burst has yet to come to fruition. However, the two-time Brand Of The Year has come out and confirmed a completely different Jolt collaboration that is hitting coolers in a couple of months.

Redcon1 has revealed that it recently sampled, put into production, and is officially launching a Jolt Root Beer Redcon1 Energy Drink. Root Beer was one of the many flavors Jolt had in its catalog of beverages back in the day, and after seeing success with the original Cola, Redcon1 is resurrecting Jolt Root Beer. The flavor will have all of the signature ingredients of the product, including taurine, carnitine, alpha-gpc for focus, and 200mg of natural caffeine.

There are a few other companies that have found success in the energy drink category with a root beer flavor, Bang Energy and Raw Nutrition’s Bum Energy being two of them, although the former is no longer available. As mentioned, the Jolt Root Beer Redcon1 Energy has been confirmed as definitely hitting the market in a couple of months, sometime in October, which is a time of year a lot of flavors and extensions tend to roll out to retailers.
