The major UK brand Bulk recently came out with a whole lot of extensions to its pre-workout Dope, introducing its more mildly premium Dope Max as well as the BCAA-based intra-workout Dopa BCAA+. Another newcomer to the market that’s arrived alongside those innovations in the compact and convenient Dope Shot, which carries over most of the regular Dope formula and puts it into a pocket-sized 60ml shot for you to swallow and go.
Bulk’s Dope Shot isn’t an exact one-to-one replacement of the powder supplement; a few things are missing. It comes with a full 3.2g of beta-alanine and 500mg of taurine for performance, 2.5g citrulline malate and 2g of arginine AKG for pumps, and lastly, 200mg of caffeine. All of those features are in the original Dope product, except the arginine has been halved, and there is no Himalayan salt for electrolytes or, of course, creatine monohydrate.
Bulk has done a good job at getting the Dope Shot close to the original pre-workout, keeping the beta-alanine and caffeine the same for performance and energy, and most of the pump components. You’re essentially trading the convenience of it all being a small shot for a slightly simpler formula, and you can grab it now from Bulk’s online store, where it’s usually £21.99 but for a limited time, it’s dropped to £17.99 (24.04 USD) for a case of 12.
