We first posted about the functional innovator DuelFuel a few years ago, and it genuinely stood out. The brand makes a protein bar, or protein bars technically, as it never sold them singularly; the signature DuelFuel product is a pack of two full-sized pieces. The creative company hasn’t been out there over the last few years compared to when it debuted, but it appears to be back in full swing here in the second half of the year with its purpose intact.
DuelFuel’s flagship functional food is a unique two-in-one system, where in each pack you get a performance bar and a recovery bar. The performance bar is oat-based, providing almost 21g of carbohydrates, light protein, and a blend of vitamins and minerals. The recovery bar flips the profile with a respectable 21.8g of protein, much lower carbohydrates, and the same micronutrient support to drive muscle repair and overall replenishment.

The DuelFuel snacking system has just been added to Amazon, and everything is very much the same. The product comes with two bars per pack: the performance bar with oats for carbohydrates and fuel, and then the recovery bar with a post-workout style focus on recovery. The main ingredients are much the same, although unlike before, there is just one in the Peanut Butter & Chocolate Performance Bar and Chocolate Brownie Recovery Bar.
Basically, DuelFuel is back in action and pushing its signature functional innovation as much as it was in 2022 when we first highlighted it. The brand is no longer selling the DuelFuel Energy and Protein Bars through its online store; instead, it is directing fans to Amazon. Over there, you can grab a box of 12 packs at £39.60, and keep in mind those are packs, not bars, where every pack comes with one each of the performance and recovery bars.
