Life Pro makes delicious coated rice cakes with moderate protein and low sugar

Life Pro Nutrition Rice Cakes

Life Pro Nutrition, our past two-time Functional Brand Of The Year, hasn’t been as busy this year as in the past, but it’s still been throwing out some unique and intriguing snacks, treats, and extensions to its supplement side. Rice Cakes is the newest drop from the Spanish brand, and while most of the innovations from Life Pro pack a good amount of protein, this one is more about offering a balance.

The newly released Rice Cakes from Life Pro Nutrition are indeed made from brown and white rice, then to mix things up, they are infused with milk and whey protein, and are covered in cocoa or yogurt for a delicious take on the familiar food. The ingredients lead to 7.7g of protein per two rice cakes with 19.3g of carbohydrates, under 2g of that sugar, 9g of fat thanks to the yogurt, and a calorie count of 202.

Again, the macros on Life Pro Nutrition’s Rice Cakes aren’t on the level of a protein shake or even a typical protein bar, but they’re certainly fair for a better-for-you snack with moderate protein and low sugar. The functional innovation comes in packs of two 20g cakes in your choice of Cocoa or Yogurt flavors, and they’re available directly in as little as single packs at €2.50 (2.95 USD).
