Tsunami makes a second cereal that’s much higher in protein at 25g a serving

Tsunami Nutrition Protein Rice Crispy

Tsunami Nutrition in Italy, one of the dominators of that country, already had protein cereal locked up by way of its traditional hoop-shaped Protein Rings. The product is available in a whole host of flavors, with the likes of Honey, Banana, Peanut Butter, Chocolate, and Caramel, all with 35% protein. For fans who want something new and different for breakfast that still has that cereal experience and even more protein, there is now Protein Rice Crispy.

The latest from Tsunami Nutrition is a more Rice Krispies-style breakfast cereal with tiny, crispy, puff pieces that pile onto your spoon far denser than Protein Rings, and they have much more protein per gram. The brand’s new Protein Rice Crispy is 50% protein, working out to a solid 25g of the muscle-building macronutrient in a 50g serving. The carbohydrates are about half that at 12g, under a gram of that is sugar, just 4g of fat, and a calorie count of 195.

Tsunami Nutrition’s Protein Rice Crispy is a nice alternative to its already available Protein Rings, offering both a different experience in terms of shape, size, and consistency, and something with an impressively higher level of protein. Fans do lose out a bit on flavors as Protein Rice Crispy comes in significantly fewer flavors than Protein Rings in one versus eight with Choco, but at least the price is the same at €6.91 (8.16 USD) for a sizeable 210g box.
