Barebells here in the US is getting ready to launch something rather significant in the month of October, and it is said to be quite the innovation. The functional food powerhouse is currently teasing the item on social media, although it is pushing the meaning of teaser quite intensely. When we were told that Barebells has something innovative coming, our immediate guess was the long-awaited launch of the Barebells Protein Shake, and we were told that is not it.
The exact words from Barebells were actually that its upcoming product is more innovative than its long-running ready-to-drink protein, which is a bold statement since it’s one of the best in the business. We have a few guesses in mind, but there is the chance we’re not even close. Based on the few teasers Barebells has put out there, it looks as though the mystery item is coming in three flavors, suggesting that we are indeed in for a completely new protein product.
This could be the US launch of the deliciously soft and foamy Barebells Chewy Bar, the brand’s other beverage, the more balanced meal replacement shake Fast Food, or something entirely different that’s not available anywhere else. We’re genuinely stumped and at the same time incredibly excited, as it’s not often we see Barebells innovate on the format side; usually, it’s more flavors, and we can’t wait to see how this unfolds when all is revealed next week.
