Be Legend in Japan has done countless special edition flavors over the years for its whey-based protein powder, the majority of them being collaborations, although it dabbles in season and event-related extensions. This month, the brand has pushed out another temporary extension to its wide variety of protein supplements and flavors, which is both a completely new taste for fans to enjoy and technically a new type of protein powder.
Now available from Be Legend’s online store is Whey Protein Coffee, a blend of whey concentrate and coffee with 22g of protein in a 30g serving, and 40mg of caffeine from instant coffee. The carbohydrates aren’t too bad at 3.7g, just 100mg of that sugar, 1.6g of fat, and a calorie count of 120. The other key feature of Whey Protein Coffee is the flavor, as it is quite a unique one in the rose and white chocolate recipe, White Rose Coffee.
You can snatch up Be Legend’s Whey Protein Coffee through its own online store, right at the bottom of the drop-down list on the protein powder product page, and the cost is ¥3,300 (21.74 USD) for a smaller-than-usual bag of 600g.
