Every year for the past 14 years, we’ve hosted a competition to find the most popular protein powder with our extensive audience. This is our protein powder showdown, which we call Protein Wars, and it has seen a few champions crowned over the years, from the first winner in Cellucor Cor Whey to the dominating reigning title holder RYSE Loaded Protein. The competition is indeed back for 2025 and is taking place in two and a half weeks.
On Monday, the 17th of November, we are going to bring together as many protein powders as possible and will be putting them all to a vote. The first round is an all-out open one, where everyone gets to vote once for absolutely anyone. After that week-long battle, we take the most voted for 20 supplements and move them onto the quarterfinals in four groups of five, let voting roll for a week, then put the winner of each lot into the semifinals.
It will all come down to the 8th of December, the week of the grand final, where the two protein powders left standing will battle it out for the crown. For 2025, the Protein Wars is proudly presented by AstraGin, an ingredient you’ll find in almost every sports nutrition product due to its ability to improve absorption and efficacy. Fans and brands can now note the date in their calendars, and we look forward to seeing whoever comes out on top this year.
