Skyway starts out in the protein shake space with some impressive added functionality

From Stack3d
Skyway Cloud Shake

Ready-to-drink protein products have become hugely popular here in North America, especially this year, where we’ve seen several new players enter the space, bringing their own formulas, flavors, and marketing. In Europe, there has always been an abundance of protein beverages, hence why the best in the world are over there; either way, that increase in popularity is affecting other parts of the world, and the fast-growing India appears to be one.

We’ve seen a few protein RTDs pop up this year out of India, although none quite as well done as the recently released Skyway. From ingredients to nutrition and branding, the newcomer has hit its debut product out of the park. The aptly named Cloud Shake is made with skimmed milk and milk concentrate to provide 26g of quality protein in a 280ml bottle, 8.2g of carbohydrates, just over half of that sugar, under 2g of fat, and very reasonable calories at 225.

In addition to the respectable nutrition profile, Skyway’s Cloud Shake also comes with 4g of prebiotic fiber to support gut health and digestion, 800mg of omega-3s for inflammation and general health, and 300mg of the extensively proven KSM-66 Ashwagandha for its lengthy list of benefits, including improved performance, recovery, muscle building, and stress.

Despite the young age of the beverage company, Skyway clearly knows what it’s doing and how to stand out in a space that is typically protein in a delicious shake, and that’s it. The newcomer has taken things a step further in Cloud Shake, throwing in respectably dosed extras to further health, wellness, and performance. Skyway sells its debut beverage direct, and the price is damn good, getting as low as ₹183 (2.06 USD) a bottle in Choco Hazelnut and Banana-Berry flavors.
