Among the many upcoming beverages Monster had on show at NACS that weren’t available to sample was the very intriguing Strawberry Shot Monster Energy Drink, or technically, Monster Energy Drinks. From all that we could gather, Strawberry Shot is essentially the signature green Monster energizing beverage, the one that started it all, infused with a sweet shot of strawberry, which sounds like quite the combination.
The Strawberry Shot Monster Energy Drink will be available in both the full sugar recipe and the Monster Energy Zero Sugar variety, which came to market a few years ago and is just like the original but indeed, without any sugar. The distinct, unforgettable taste of the green Monster Energy Drink mixed with a hit of strawberry should be an interesting one, and if it does well, the company could very quickly expand the concept.
Similar to the Strawberry Lemonade Juice Monster and Ultra Red, White & Blue Razz, the Strawberry Shot Monster Energy regular and zero sugar are expected to hit coolers a little later than the brand’s other innovations at NACS, sometime next year.
