Controlled Labs drops its take on the well-rounded cost-effective pre-workout

Controlled Labs White Wire

Controlled Labs has been in the sports nutrition industry before we founded Stack3d, and it has continued to be a strong, reputable competitor over the years. It wasn’t always known for its pre-workouts, but the brand has cooked up some solid formulas in its time, with entries like White Flood, the sequel White Flood Reborn, White Flood Plus, White Flash, White Rapids, White Pump, and starting this month, we have White Wire.

The newly released White Wire from Controlled Labs sees the legacy name get in on the trend of stripped-down, cost-effective, and respectably dosed pre-workouts, along the lines of Raw’s Essential Pre-Workout and a few others under the elusive $30 mark. White Wire has hit the market both directly through the brand’s online store as well as the online giant Amazon, both stocking it at $29.99 for a tub of 30 regular servings.

Controlled Labs White Wire Label

Controlled Labs has done similar to a few other pre-workouts in that price range, bringing together reliable ingredients and robust dosages to support all of the core benefits of this sort of supplement. Driving endurance, performance, and strength in a single serving of White Wire 2.5g of classic creatine monohydrate, a gram of taurine, and 1.6g of high-quality CarnoSyn beta-alanine.

Rounding out the formula in Controlled Labs White Wire for pumps and energy, you get 3g of pure citrulline, 1.5g of betaine, and a combined 300mg of caffeine from anhydrous and di-caffeine malate. A good chunk of the dosages are more commonly seen at twice the amount, and you could do that here in White Wire, but be incredibly mindful of the caffeine, as two scoops will push you up over half a gram, and that fill hit.
