Intico almost doubles the protein in the spin-off of its signature low sugar bar

From Stack3d
Intico Higher Protein Bar

Intico in China has a set or similar level of protein in its self-explanatory High Protein Low Sugar Bar, which in the recently released White Chocolate Strawberry flavor was 14g. Some of the other flavors for the same product get up to as high as 16g, but again, they’re all around the same area. That all changes in the all-new spin-off of that functional food, still anmed Intico High Protein Low Sugar Bar although the protein is not around 15g.

Hitting the market in China this month is Intico’s 50% version of the High Protein Low Sugar Bar, where half of the volume of the product is high-quality protein, and at 50g apiece, that comes out to a solid 25g. That does mean fewer carbohydrates and fat, resulting in a better protein-to-calorie ratio than the original High Protein Low Sugar Bar; however, it is also likely to affect the taste as more protein does tend to make things much tougher.

Consumers in China and fans of Intico are simply now given the choice of moderate protein in the High Protein Low Sugar Bar and its many flavors, or something much denser and chewier for just shy of twice the protein. The other downside to the expansion is it only comes in one flavor to start and that is a traditional Chocolate.
