Intico in China is a protein bar specialist that has a variety of snacks in the traditional bar format, ranging in weights and amounts of protein, including the signature Intico High Protein Low Sugar Bar. It tips the scale at 45g apiece, not the standard 60g, but it has an appropriately scaled amount of protein at 14 to 16g. It comes in some genuinely decadent-sounding flavors, including Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel, Dark Triple Chocolate, and Dark Chocolate Brownie.
There is a new flavor out this month for Intico’s High Protein Low Sugar Bar, and it is a nice change of pace, directing away from the chocolate-heavy options it already has available. Instead of dark chocolate or milk chocolate, the Chinese brand has gone with a white chocolate base and a sweet infusion of strawberry. Again, it’s a much lighter experience compared to those others, with 14g of protein to 162 calories, and it’s available now in single bars and bulk boxes.
