My Routine fills a flavor of its flagship protein powder with popping candy

My Routine Popping Candy Whey Protein

The international market is full of creative and unique products and flavors, and here we’ve got another great example of something that is a standout in a brand’s home market, as well as something that would pop off here in North America. The company we’re focusing on is My Routine in Japan, specifically its signature supplement, the rather traditional LATs Whey Protein Powder has 20g of protein a serving, low sugar, and around 120 calories.

In terms of flavors, My Routine is anything but standard, with common options like Chocolate, Cookies, and Caramel, and more uncommon tastes in Matcha Latte, Melon, and Mango. The latest extension to the menu of the product is where things get extra interesting, as the brand has introduced Popping Candy LAT.s Whey Protein Powder. It is a sweet and creamy candy-flavored protein shake that has actual popping candy throughout the supplement.

The infusion of popping candy is something we’ve seen in sports nutrition products before from the likes of Red Dragon Nutritionals, RYSE Supplements, and Protella in Europe, although it is still incredibly rare and fun to see. What makes the innovation even better is that it doesn’t appear to be a limited-time launch; it’s something fans can rely on moving forward, and from My Routine’s website, the price is not too bad at ¥3,980 (25.67 USD) for a 1kg bag.
