With how extensively saturated the sports nutrition industry is, you don’t often get industry-first products; usually, they’re never-before-seen flavors or authentic collaborations with intriguing partners. Entirely new supplements do occasionally come along, and that is what Nutrimuscle in France has claimed in its latest innovation. Protein has been a category the brand has been extensively present in, and that is where its industry-first falls into.
Native Clear Whey is Nutrimuscle’s newest supplement, and it is claimed to be “The world’s first ever 100% Native Clear Whey”. As far as we know, this is the first clear protein powder that relies on high-quality native whey isolate for protein, which is a unique source that is extracted directly from milk rather than cheese. The nutrition profile is not quite as lean as we had hoped, with 15g of protein, 7.7g of carbohydrates, and 92 calories.
The surprise with this one is that while it does rely on native whey isolate for its protein, it also includes Peptan collagen at 7.5g, and from what we understand, that does contribute to that 15g of protein per serving. So while this may be the first clear protein powder with native whey, that is not the only source of protein in the product.
Native Clear Whey is still an intriguing innovation out of Nutrimuscle, and it also has an infusion of electrolytes to work as both a refreshing protein shake and hydration-supporting supplement. The brand does follow the standard path of clear protein coming exclusively in light flavors with Blueberry Raspberry and Peach Hibiscus. The product will soon be available direct at a premium €42.95 (49.35 USD) for a 500g tub and €79.95 (91.87 USD) for 1kg.
