Hooligan and Assassin are the two most known pre-workouts from Apollon Nutrition, although there is a third that has just as much legacy at the hardcore supplement company. Lionheart is that other product, built more for moderate energy and high-powered performance, and while it did only come to market a few years ago, it is actually an evolution of the capsule formula Kumite, hence the reference to it being a long-running part of the brand.
Apollon Nutrition’s original Lionheart was a beast that provided more than enough energy and focus to drive you through and keep you zoned in. Where the supplement shone was the strength, performance, and endurance, where no matter the muscle group or exercise, it gave you one more set or rep well beyond the line of exhaustion. It is our favorite pre-workout from Apollon, and at the end of this week, it is relaunching with an even better formula.
Again, the focus of Apollon Nutrition’s Lionheart is to push and power you through a workout, not just to get you from start to finish, but to ensure you’re lifting and pumping as much as, if not more than, you can usually. The sequel has all of the tools to do that, as all of its ingredients are from the original but at either the same or greater dosages.

Apollon Nutrition has increased almost everything it has carried for Lionheart V2, including double the betaine to 2.5g, plus the betaine you get from the continued 2g of NO3-T betaine nitrate. The taurine and tyrosine have been increased by 50% to 3g each per serving, and to enhance focus, there is 66% more alpha-gpc by way of the premium GPCgold alpha-gpc at a gram a serving. Our workout go-to Senactiv is still at play at 100mg, beta-alanine remains at its signature 3.2g, and the caffeine has stayed at 300mg from anhydrous and zumXR, which has replaced the role of di-caffeine malate.
Lionheart V2 is very much a refined return where Apollon Nutrition has put more of almost everything, removed a few components, and kept the core balance much the same. The performance and endurance looks like it’ll be as good as before, although the focus has certainly been dialed up plus a smoother energy effect. The product is going live this Friday through apollonnutrition.com with 20 full servings per tub and a price of $59.99.
