Protein Chips expands the already extensive functional food side of Applied Nutrition

Applied Nutrition Protein Chips

Applied Nutrition has always had a huge selection of products in its local market in the United Kingdom and Europe, long before it became a notable name in the major US market with its various premium offerings like Pre and Creatine Peptide. The functional food arm of Applied has yet to make its presence felt in America, but continues to remain strong in the continent of Europe, and this week it has brought on a format it has never touched before.

Now available in the United Kingdom and Europe is Applied Nutrition’s Protein Chips, the classic snacking chip food, although it’s not fried, comes with a lot more protein than traditional chips, and in a surprise twist, it’s vegan-friendly. A sizeable bag of 50g comes with a total of 15g of protein from pea and fava bean protein, 29g of carbohydrates thanks to its dehydrated potato base, less than a gram of sugar, a low 3.8g of fat, and a solid 210 calories.

In typical Applied Nutrition style, it has debuted its simply named Protein Chips in a handful of flavors, not just one or two. The options fans have to choose from are Original, Sour Cream & Onion, Paprika, and Salt & Vinegar; all classic potato chip tastes. If you want to give it a shot, the brand makes it nice and easy by selling the product in single bags at £1.75 (2.33 USD) or if you want to save some cash, there is a box of seven at £10.50 (14 USD).
