Pure Vita Labs, or better known as PVL, in Canada, leaned fully into locally sourcing with Can-Whey, a protein powder made entirely in Canada using domestically produced dairy and manufactured in its own facility. The formula delivers 20g of quality and complete protein per serving with 1.5g of fat, a somewhat high 11g of carbohydrates, 5g of that is sugar, and 130 calories, built for smooth taste and texture in traditional Chocolate and Vanilla flavors.
PVL has now taken that 100% Canadian-made protein powder to the membership retailer Costco, significantly expanding its reach. Available in Costco Canada warehouses is a much larger 4.4lb bag, up from the original 1.6lb size, with identical ingredients and macros. The major retailer carries it in just the one flavor with Classic Vanilla, not Classic Chocolate, and the price is, of course, great value at $59.99, with some locations showing it down to $49.99.
