USN, the pride of the South African supplement market, has a different selection of products in other parts of the world, including in the United Kingdom, where it has just rolled out a whole new beverage. Now available in that part of the world is something called Protein Fuel 40, which puts USN into coolers in the ready-to-drink protein market. More importantly, it isn’t playing around, putting together a competitor with a solid amount of protein.
The newly released Protein Fuel 40 from USN in the UK doesn’t pack 40g of protein as the name may have you think, it’s actually confusingly close at 41g from a blend of milk concentrate, skimmed milk, and milk isolate. The rest of the convenient supplement’s nutrition profile breaks down into 17g of carbohydrates, almost all of that is sugar at 16g, the fat is just a single gram, and the calories are 240, with slight variances across each of the flavors.
There are four options on the menu of USN’s Protein Fuel 40, all of them pretty straightforward in Chocolate, Vanilla, and two fruity flavors in Banana and Strawberry. The convenient, ready-to-drink innovation squeezes everything into a half-liter bottle and is sort of a step down from its already available Protein 50, which has 50g of protein and 305 calories.
