Wow relaunches its hydration drink alongside a collagen-based protein beverage

Wow Protein Drink

The beverage brand Wow has long been connected to the hydration category with its simply named Wow Hydrate, packed full of electrolytes to support hydration, performance, and recovery. The well-established company has just gone through a complete revamp that involves a new version of its core drink. In addition to that, Wow has revealed and released a very separate beverage innovation with the equally light and refreshing Wow Protein Drink.

Similar to how Wow Hydrate focuses entirely on hydration and performance, Wow Protein Drink centers around the muscle-building macronutrient that is protein, as per the title. The formula on this one is pretty straightforward, with hydrolyzed bovine collagen being the sole source of the product’s 20g of protein a bottle. The collagen helps keep the other macros to a minimum with absolutely no fat, zero carbohydrates, and a sub-100-calorie count of 94.

Most protein water drinks or ready-to-drink clear protein shakes rely on high-quality whey isolate, although here it is all from the non-complete protein source collagen, in turn offering the usual collagen benefits of hair, skin, nail, and joint health. The Wow Protein Drink is now out and available in the United Kingdom, alongside the updated Wow Hydrate, in Blackberry Vanilla, Orange Yuzu, and White Peach Apricot flavors at £37 (49.50 USD) direct, for 12.
