El Jefe is coming out with a 12oz energy drink and it’s calling it La Jefa

La Jefa Energy Drink

El Jefe Energy is a rising competitor in the fast-paced and saturated energy drink category, offering a transparent blend of 2g of taurine, 200mg each of ginseng and carnitine tartrate, and a moderate 150mg of caffeine. That is complete with zero sugar, low carbohydrates, and a calorie count of ten across several delicious flavors, including the likes of Killer Peach, Wild Mango, Zuma Watermelon, Baja Orange, and Sinister Razz.

Currently, all of El Jefe Energy’s products come in the traditional 16oz can, but later this month, there is going to be a slight change to that. The brand has revealed that it is coming out with a slimmer and sleeker 12oz offering that’ll have a different name and look. The smaller beverage will be called La Jefa Energy, which translates to “The Boss” like El Jefe, although that is the feminine alternative, and on the face of La Jefa, will be a woman with a similar style and look as the man on the face of the El Jefe Energy Drink.

There will be two flavors for La Jefa Energy to start, both of which are entirely new and not from the El Jefe Energy menu, including an exotic Pineapple Storm. The sugar will be at zero, the carbohydrates and calories still low, and presumably, the caffeine is going to come down to maybe around 110mg. Again, the rollout is taking place later this month, with availability expected in all of the brand’s growing retail partners.
