Magic Spoon’s Pop-Tart-like Protein Pastries are now at Costco in boxes of 12 for $17.99

Costco Gets Magic Spoon Protein Pastries

It wasn’t that long ago that the breakfast specialist Magic Spoon, one of the first functional companies to find huge success with a protein cereal, launched its Protein Pastries. It is the innovative brand’s take on the traditional Pop-Tart format, with a soft, crumbly outer, a deliciously gooey filling, and a squiggle of flavor across the top. Magic Spoon Protein Pastries pack 11g of protein per piece, only 2g of added sugar, and 170 calories in S’mores, Cinnamon Brown Sugar, and Strawberry.

Despite Magic Spoon just launching Protein Pastries, last month really, it has already expanded the high-protein treat to Costco, and as you’d expect, it is with a much more cost-effective bundle compared to Target’s $9.99 for a box of four. The brand has put together a variety pack with 12 in total, six each of its Cinnamon Brown Sugar and Frosted Strawberry flavors. The price on the Costco-exclusive is less than double the four-piece at $17.89, and, again, with triple the pastries.

If you prefer straight numbers, the Magic Spoon Protein Pastries at Costco save you a substantial 40%, and you get the benefit of having two flavors to choose from, which is great for consumers who have yet to try the gooey, flavorful Pop-Tart-like protein snack.
