Protein cereal brand Magic Spoon puts 11g of protein in its all-new toaster pastries

Magic Spoon Protein Pastries

Marshmallow-filled flavors of Protein Cereal aren’t all that Magic Spoon has crafted and come out with recently; it has also debuted a completely new format, similar in convenience to its Protein Treats, although in a very different shape and size. The product sums up everything in its name with Magic Spoon Protein Pastries, a high-protein version of the iconic anytime toaster pastry treat with the brand’s flair for taste, texture, and nutrition.

Magic Spoon’s Protein Pastries bring its signature high-protein, low net carbohydrate approach to the always enjoyable toaster pastry format, resulting in a protein-packed Pop-Tart-like food. The macros are about as good as a bowl of the brand’s cereal with 11g of protein per piece, 6g of fat, 2g of added sugar, and 170 calories. They aren’t on par with the numbers in a Legendary Foods Protein Pastry, but that could be offset depending on how they taste.

There are three flavors to start for the promising new Protein Pastries from Magic Spoon, all perfectly suited for the toaster pastry format in the chocolate and marshmallow S’mores, Cinnamon Brown Sugar, and a sweet Strawberry. Similar to the new S’mores and Original Marshmallow Protein Cereals with miniature marshmallows, Magic Spoon’s Protein Pastries are available first from the big box retailer Target at a regular $9.99 for a box of four.
