DZIK in Poland is an incredibly interesting health and nutrition company that also has a strong presence on the apparel side of things. It has a very creative selection of functional products, including better-for-you sauces and syrups that have no sugar, chips that are packed with up to 23g of protein, and, most surprisingly, Protein Pizza. DZIK previously had two varieties for its functional pizza in BBQ Chicken and a classic Salami, with a third just recently hitting the market.
Now available in supermarkets is a Capricciosa flavor or option for DZIK’s protein-loaded pizza, and just like the traditional pizza of the same name, it features cheese, tomato paste, ham, mushrooms, and olives. There is also chicken breast in there, which, together with higher protein cheese, provides a total of 60g of protein. The other macros aren’t as standout as that with 101g of carbohydrates, about 10% of that sugar at 10.9g, 8.4g of fat, and a reasonable 739 calories.
The fat has been kept nice and low for DZIK’s Capricciosa Protein Pizza, helping the calories stay well below the 1,000-calorie mark. The carbohydrates are up there, but the highlight is the high amount of protein at 60g, the same as what you get in the brand’s Salami variety. DZIK is directing fans to the major convenience store chain Zabka, and it has the extensive presence a company would want for great distribution, with around 12,000 locations across Poland.
